KHOVE started with a thought on holidays, but really, the idea had been building for years.

I've been a hairdresser for 16 years and a colour educator for the last 8, and one thing I've seen over and over again is clients spending hundreds on their hair, only to come back from a holiday with it completely damaged. We apply SPF to our skin, so why are we not treating our hair with the same respect?

Hair has been my world for most of my life, but so has the lifestyle I live outside of the salon. I surf, travel, snowboard and spend as much time outdoors as I can. Bringing those two worlds together felt like a natural evolution, combining everything I know about hair with a product designed for the way I actually live.

After years behind the chair, I knew I wanted something I could confidently send my clients away with, knowing their hair was being looked after between appointments. Something that worked before the damage happened, felt beautiful in the hair and didn't leave behind the heavy silicone build-up that can make our job harder when they come back into the salon.

So, I decided to create it.

From the formula to the packaging, every detail of KHOVE has meaning behind it. Our formula is proudly Australian made, with carefully considered ingredients including organic and plant-derived ingredients where possible. It's vegan and reef conscious, because creating something inspired by the ocean also means thinking about our impact on it.

Our bottles are made using PCR recycled plastic, giving existing plastic another life and helping reduce the need for virgin plastic. We know we can't be perfect, but we can make more conscious choices and keep looking for ways to do better.

As KHOVE grows, giving back to the oceans that inspired it is something I want to grow with us too. This is only the beginning
